New Winter Resort to Rise in Bulgaria

Bulgaria will see the building of a new winter resort near Smolyan in the Rhodope Mountains.
"Sports and Tourism Centre Perelik" plan to invest over EUR 255 M - an amount that won them a first class investment certificate by the State Investments Agency. This is the third such certificate given to a Bulgarian investor.
The resort will include facilities for both winter sports and summer tourism, reports say. Skiing tracks will spread over 55 kilometres in total, and there will also be 24 lift lines and various hotels.
