New ski run, lift to open in Borovets resort
Briko 2007, a joint venture between LM Impex and the Samokov municipality, said it will inaugurate a new 1 km ski run and two-seat ski lift in local mountain resort Borovets by the end of this week. The 0.3 mln lev facility is part of a 6 mln lev project for a new skiing complex in the resort. The project envisages the construction of an installation for artificial snow, a further 2 ski runs, hotel and restaurant. The Samokov municipality has contributed 10 ha to the development.
