Recently ranked 3rd in a Post Office survey for the best value ski destination, Borovets has beaten off competition from North American and other Western European resorts. Top of the list came the Romanian ski resort of Poiana Brasov in the Carpathians.
Borovets offers tourists a wide range of facilities, including a new gondola and good value restaurants. A number of the exisiting hotels have experienced a revamp and there are new apartments in Borovets that have been built and can be rented.
