Location and Local Attractions
Sequoa II apartment house is located in Borovets, the oldest and the largest mountain resort in Bulgaria. Situated in northern slopes of Rila mountain among magnificent pine woods, Borovets is located at the foot of the highest peak on Balkan Peninsula Moussala (2925 m). The winter resort Borovets is the Alpine resort providing excellent opportunities for a full range of winter sports - from the Alpine sports to cross - country skiing, ski - jumps and biathlon. The ski runs of various difficulty are suitable for all, be they beginners, intermediate, advanced or expert skiers. The One of the most ambitious projects to be undertaken in Bulgaria, the Super Borovets project aims to expand the current resort of Borovets and turn it into an all year round international holiday destination. Super Borovets project provides for the construction of additional 36 km of ski tracks (which will total 78km in total), new ski lifts, improvement in infrastructure, 15 000 bed facilities, and shopping centres. Borovets ski resort is a National Park which is world legacy and is one of the largest preserved territories in Europe. This guarantees you that it will not be overbuilt like Bansko ski resort and some seaside resorts, which in return means no oversupply of properties in future and favourable returns.
