Location and Local Attractions

Very well located in a good area next to town park and stadium, this complex has very good access to Bansko's historic centre and wide array of facilities. Edelweiss is actually located in the historic sector of the town where the surrounding buildings date back from Renaissance times. The architecture is beautiful and because the buildings are low (not more than one or may be 2 stories), the Edelweiss complex has stunning, unspoilt views to the mountains.

The ski lifts start 1km away but there will be regular transport there for all Edelweiss residents since connection to lifts will be made by Edelweiss mini-bus shuttle. So, just hop on it in the morning with your skiis, arrive there 1 minute later, spend a day skiing on Bansko's excellent ski slopes and then return by shuttle to your apartment to relax in the evening.

Bansko has recently had huge investment, which is continuing, to make it into one of the hottest new ski destinations in Europe. The ski and tourists facilities available now are some of the best in the country and now investors are turning Bansko into an all year round resort, hence it's nickname of 'All Seasons Resort'. For anyone interested in renting, this is a major plus point. Whereas the coastal area shuts down in winter, Bansko ski resort remains very much alive all year round with a fast growing winter trade. Ski resorts have traditionally been great places to visit all year round- the Alps certainly do not stop trading in summer, and Bansko is no exception.

The famous Pirin Hotel is only 200m away and there you can find further facilities. All within easy reach of the complex are all manner of shops, so there is not a problem to get amenities or souvenirs etc.
