Location and Local Attractions
This apartment is situated not far from the centre of Bansko town, around 500m away. This busy mountain town is regarded as one of the most popular Eastern European ski resorts with new ski facilities. The benefit of buying in a town such as Bansko is that there are things to do all year round; the resort is not closed in summer but bars, restaurants and hotels stay open all year. Not only that but two major golf courses are being built outside Bansko so not only will the town be a mecca for skiiers but also golfers. Bansko's primary gondola station is around 1200m from White Fairy (a 15-20 min walk) but taxis and public transport is available in the town all year. The resort already has a new 8 person gondola lift and there are plans for a second to be built to meet the growing tourist demands. Close to the development are other develoments and popular hotels such as the Olymp Hotel. Another benefit of buying in Bansko is that the Greek border is only 50kms away so day trips to Greece and its coastline are feasible.
